The feeling of knowing they are 'good' at something gives them...a life long love of learning. This spills over into school learning and children gain the confidence to pursue to their ambitions
It really contributes to the school community, being the only official extra-curricular music activity there
I enjoyed playing at the Beckenham Festival the most because we got graded, and because we played as individuals and in a group
